Autism Resource Connection

Through a joint collaboration, our organizations had an idea to develop a resource app for families and professionals in the autism communities of Kansas and Nebraska. With no clue on where to begin, we stumbled upon PocketCake, a local company in the KC metro area. With just an idea in mind and no experience developing apps, PocketCake heard our thoughts, asked questions, and learned as much as they could about our organizations and autism. They developed and presented a plan for design and implementation and over time, everyone worked jointly together to develop the app that was once an idea. The team at PocketCake were great collaborative partners in our project and we could not be more excited to have the resource app available to many families and professionals in both Kansas and Nebraska.

This is a great company. A lot of talented people who are very skilled at realizing what I thought were abstract concepts for my company's mobile app. I was impressed with their software ingenuity and commitment to getting things accomplished on time. Great support after the sale, too.

Will not respond to emails or texts or phone calls. App is STILL riddled with issues and problems. Even when app issues are sent, it is Pocket Cake’s stance to dismiss them as user error to keep from fixing them. Payment was withheld because app still does not work. We spent over $50,000 for something as it currently stands is useless. The last commissioned update was done completely incorrect. Last Tournament reported about 30% of users having app related issues. We offered to pay in full as long as all outstanding issues were paid. No response.
